7 It used to be a great park back in the days when most expatriates were working here in Bulolo.
Today it is not as significant of its title as a national park, it is dormant for some years now. Only locals visit the place for hunting or to collect ‘sako’ tips and fruits for marketing.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit this site unless you’re going with some locals for security reasons.
This place can take you back to the times of dinosaurs mostly untouched by the destruction we call progress
We enjoyed the beautiful nature and were accommodated in the Bundun conference centre and lodge of the ELCPNG
The Park was burnt down in 1997 during a major drought period. After that alluvial gold miners entered the park and added more destruction to the natural eco system. It is no what it used to be

It provides one of the historic sites capturing days of gold rush in the early days of PNG.it's safe to travel
